1. Key Areas During the 15th Five Year Plan period, the key areas for the development of China's instrumentation industry are: ① Industrial automation instruments and systems A. The development and industrialization of the new generation of main control systems and their integrated automation mainly include distributed control systems, fieldbus control systems, and development based control systems based on industrial computers; B. Advanced control and optimization software development and industrialization mainly include advanced control technology, process optimization technology, real-time monitoring software platform, information integration software platform, system integration technology, etc; C. Development and industrialization of intelligent instruments, actuators and transmitters, complete sets of specialized control devices, and complete sets of specialized optimization systems; ② Scientific instruments A. Chromatography instruments, improving separation technology, and developing miniature specialized chromatography instruments with international standards; B. Strategic Objectives Through policy guidance, encourage resources such as funds and process talents to invest in the instrumentation industry, accelerate the development of the instrumentation industry, and strive to achieve the following strategic goals within 5 to 10 years: ① China's instrumentation industry, including industrial automation instruments and systems, scientific instruments, medical instruments, various measuring instruments and related sensors, components and materials, has research and development and production capabilities that have reached or are close to the international level of the early 21st century; ③ In various major fields of instrumentation, a new batch of approximately 18 to 20 engineering technology centers and industrialization bases will be established to vigorously promote technological innovation in instrumentation and accelerate the industrialization of innovative achievements; ④ Cultivate and develop a total of no less than 30 production bases and key enterprises with comprehensive strength and considerable scale in various major fields of instrumentation.
